Jennylyn still Loyal to GMA
Jennylyn Mercado proves her loyalty in GMA Network by not renewing her contract to her manager Becky Aguila. It’s obvious that Jennylyn don’t have a choice like Angel Locsin she will not renew her contract with her manager that will end this coming 2008.
As we can see that Jennylyn is being drag down by the issue between Angel and Becky with the managment because it’s clear as crystal that Jennylyn’s career is going down by this.
GMA Network and Mother Lily is a big help for her because they have an offer to Jennylyn that could make her back her career. GMA Artist center might accept her with open arms.
What’s New in GMA 7: La Vendetta

The new soap opera in GMA 7 La Vendetta, the shooting will held in one of the big house in San Fernando, Pampanga.The lead actor of the drama is Sunshine Dizon, Jean Garcia, at Jennylyn Mercado. The drama will direct by Gil Tejada at Lore Reyes. The soap opera will run for approximately in 12 weeks.
The major characters in La Vendetta are Jean Garcia is Amanda, the villain in the drama; Jennylyn Mercado is Almira, she’s the youngest of the three sisters; and Sunshine Dizon is Eloisa, she is the hallucinating sister.
“Rustom Padilla is the closet gay of yoga instructor. Luis Alandy is Ariel. For the first time, Paolo Contis is a good person here and he is Junjun. Polo Ravales is Gabby and who have a very interesting role.”
PEP: Jennylyn Mercado back to work after the storm
Jennylyn Mercado goes back to work as the leading lady of no less than Sen. Bong Revilla in the new film Resiklo, an official entry to the 2007 Metro Manila Film Festival. This is after Jennylyn’s bout with depression after being caught in the middle of a rift between GMA-7 and her manager Becky Aguila as a result of Angel Locsin’s controversial transfer to ABS-CBN.
But in Resiklo, expect to see a sexier Jennylyn when the film hits theaters.
“Siyempre masaya,” replied Jennylyn when asked about working with Bong in an interview with Startalk. “It’s an honor to be paired with Mr. Bong Revilla. Masaya dahil ngayon ka-partner ko na siyempre ang hari ng pelikula.”
Meanwhile, the first StarStruck Ultimate Female Survivor also clarified rumors that she is running out of funds. She said that she has financial problems and that she also maintains a savings account.
Jennylyn also commented about her alleged ouster from a movie project that was supposed to pair her with F4 member Ken Zhu. But the role eventually went to Iza Calzado.
“Hindi ko po alam ‘yon, e,” Jennylyn said, although she admitted that the script of the movie was already given to her.
Jennylyn also answered the issue about the lead role in GMA-7′s new afternoon soap opera Pasan Ko ang Daigdig. It was earlier reported that she was supposed to do the Sharon Cuneta role, but it instead went to StarStruck batch mate Yasmien Kurdi.
